The Company

Our client is a full service, custom research agency.  They tailor their approach to each project’s requirements and don’t use ‘off the shelf’ products.  Their extensive client list includes government, not for profit and some private sector organisations.  Their expertise lies in consultancy to guide policy development, program evaluations and reviews and communications campaigns.


The Role

Working closely with the most respected and best minds in the industry, you will assist with a wide range of research projects across all facets of the research process.  On a day-to-day basis you will be involved with:

 

  • Assisting research consultants to conduct and manage quantitative research projects
  • Analysing data and interpreting research results (using SPSS and Excel)
  • Drafting reports and proposals
  • Data processing and data file preparation
  • Content analysis and coding
  • Generating charts and descriptive statistics
  • Organising and supporting research fieldwork
  • Client liaison.

   

The Requirements

A genuine passion for social issues, research or public policy is preferred, as is a commitment to excellence.  We would love to hear from you if can also demonstrate:

 

  • 2+ years’ experience in a social/market research or statistical analysis role
  • Relevant graduate or postgraduate qualifications (Statistics, Psychology, Behavioral Sciences or Social Sciences)
  • High level of analytical skills
  • Experience in consulting or quantitative research
  • Attention to detail
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
  • Demonstrated team and project management skills
  • Advanced Excel skills and good working knowledge of SPSS is highly desirable.
